Welcome to our Parish Quilting and Craft group
The ladies of the Anglican Parish of Salt Spring Island love to quilt and sew and stitch other articles. This group has met in many of the members homes over the years but during the last few years we have met in the Leigh Spencer room at St. Marks Church at Central.
Meeting Time- We meet every Thursday morning from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. There is a coffee break around 10:30 am. So if you are interested please join us or just come for coffee to check us out. All you need is a needle and a set of willing hands.
The hand quilting is not hard and you can learn from some very talented people.
Orders- We take orders for quilts and also for other articles such as aprons, table runners, smocked dresses, totes, purses etc. Some of these hand sewn articles are on display at All Saints by the Sea. Christmas Bazaar- Since there was a snowstorm on the weekend of Nov.20th, many bazaar items are available from the display case that is located on the lower level just outside the office door.
